United States' International Strategy for Cyberspace

Abstract:
The International Strategy for Cyberspace outlines the United States' strategic approach to building cyberspace policy. The Strategy addresses the US vision of an open, interoperable, secure, reliable, stable future cyberspace and acknowledges the US role of diplomacy, defense, and development. The Strategy proceeds by delineating policy priorities: economy, security, law enforcement, military, Internet Governance, Internet Development, and Internet Freedom. The Strategy intends to encourage the US Government's departments and agencies to more explicitly define and plan their role in international cyberspace policy; the private sector to reinforce efforts; and other states to join the the US cyberspace policy vision.
