Abstract:
Department of Homeland Security's plan for research and development in cybersecurity. Priorities include "inducing change, developing scientific foundations, maximizing research impact, accelerating transition to practice". By focusing on these four priorities, DHS can increase resiliency, attack prevention and defense, and create attack-resistant software. Federal Networking and Information Technology Research and Development Program (NITRD) is working with the Cyber Security and Information Assurance Inter-agency Working Group (CSIA IWG), White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), NITRD Senior Steering Group for Cyber Security Research and Development, and Special Cyber Operations Research and Engineering (SCORE).
