Abstract:

A summary of the preperatory committee for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio plus 20 (Rio+20). Issues include ownership of the sustainable development agenda, political commitment, financial and budgetary issues, UN system organization, implementing international agreements and looking at the interaction between development, environmental and the MDGs.
