President's Hydrogen Fuel Initiative

Abstract:

The President of the US announced a $1.2 billion initiative to combat oil dependence in the transportation sector of the country. The aim is to provide an alternative fuel that can be developed domestically and provide a clean technology for mobility. This initiative will fund research and development efforts for fuels cells and hydrogen-based projects.
