National Cyber Incident Response Plan

An expansion of the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI) creates a "cybersecurity incident response plan". National Cyber Incident Response Plan (NCIRP) calls for unified response to cyber incidents, nationally coordinated responsibilities and organizational operational plans. Creates a cyber alert risk level based on threats, vulnerabilities, consequences and responses. Threat level assessed based on national security, public safety, public health, the economy and/or public confidence. Discusses specific roles of security agencies on the local, state, and federal level, as well as private and international levels.
