International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Technologies and Law” – Final Document

Abstract: 
Notes the urgency of legal informatization development for bridging the digital divide, the need for research coordination in scientific and human resources support of legal informatization processes, the importance of creating a joint Internet resource of UNESCO Chairs in the Moscow UNESCO Office’s cluster, and the necessity to increase the security and free availability of legal information technologies, particularly for vulnerable groups of people. Proposes the development of updated legal information spaces such as databanks containing high-level law enforcement decisions and activities and implementation of the basic provisions of the UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Promotion and the Use of Multilingualism and Universal Access to Cyberspace.
