IFAD in Jordan

An account of the work completed and ongoing in Jordan by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Activities have focused mainly on rain-fed agriculture and livestock, small farm credit, income diversification and natural resources management. IFAD investments have focused in areas with high poverty rates in active farming communities. The objectives of these projects are in-keeping with the country strategic opportunities programme (COSOP) set forth by IFAD for Jordan.
