GRID-Arendal's Online GIS and Map and Graphics Database

This site contains a collection of GIS data sets related to biodiversity, population, and protected areas. Also included is a collection of maps and graphics which are sorted thematically. Topics for maps and graphics include acidification, agriculture and fisheries, atmosphere and climate change, base maps, biodiversity, demography, economy, energy, freshwater, hot spots and trends, human health, infrastructure, land degradation, marine and coastal areas, pollution, protected areas and forests, socioeconomic data, topography, and urban areas. Graphics related to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Basel Convention are also available.
