Abstract:

International treaty on Internet and computer network crimes. Covers computer related fraud, copyright infringement, child pornography, and violations of national security. Outlines a criminal policy for protecting against cyber crime though legislation and national cooperation. Added an additional protocol making xenophobic and racist propaganda publication via computer networks illegal. Includes Council of Europe, United States, Canada and Japan.
