Baku Declaration on Digital Divide and Knowledge Economy

Makes nine declarations on: Government Leadership and Initiative; Strengthened Partnership with Private Sector; Dialogue, Consultation and Partnership with Civil Society; Inclusion; Education; Accountable Internet Governance; Financing the ICT for Development; Safety, Security, Privacy; and Intellectual Property Rights and Content. Calls upon governments, the private sector, civil society, and international organizations to adopt the stated declarations in an effort to construct a knowledge-based economy in the Eurasia region.
