WSIS Forum 2011: Outcome Document

A 176-page report on the 4-day WSIS forum held in May 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland. A compilation of the results of interactive sessions, thematic workshops, and high-level dialogues that dealt with issues ranging from capacity building to e-Environment and e-Waste. High-level dialogues discussed new social media and transformations, digital inclusion, information and communication technologies (ICTs) as development enablers, and cybersecurity. The WSIS is a joint effort by ITU, UNESCO, UNCTAD, and UNDP to address the future of Internet governance and universal access to ICTs.
