Summary Report on IPCC Expert Meeting on Stabilization and Mitigation Scenarios

This paper is based on the expert meeting on stabilization and mitigation scenarios. Issues discussed include: the usefulness of multiple baselines for analysis of climate response options, the desirability of placing climate change mitigation in a wider context of development, sustainability and equity, and the need for more detailed scenarios studies in developing countries, using tools and methods appropriate for those regions.
