This paper examine economic growth and development and the role of the manufacturing and export sector. And review the government policy toward manufacturing in Oman. This paper provide study based on data “research gathered from companies in Rusayl to determine the biggest problems currenty facing manufacturing in Oman and the effectiveness of government policy toward the sector”. And hight the main problem such bureaucracy, Omanization, and transport costs.
