Abstract:
This report summarizes the progress of the Global Cybersecurity Agenda (GCA) since it was launched on 17 May 2007. Built on five work areas (legal measures, technical and procedural measures, organizational structures, capacity building, and international cooperation), the GCA acts as an international framework for creating strategies to enhance cybersecurity. This report discusses the responsibilities of the High-Level Experts Group (HLEG) which include: developing GCA to meet its goals, analyzing current developments in cybersecurity, and providing guidance on long-term strategies for cybersecurity. It also covers the structure and working methods of GCA and progress made at HLEG meetings.
