Global Aviation and Our Sustainable Future

This document, produced by the International Civilian Aviation Organization, a UN Specialized Agency, outlines previous progress made in sustainability in aviation and future goals of the organization for continuing progress. Specifically, the paper outlines improvements made in fuel efficiency for airplanes since the 1970s and determines the framework for how the ICAO should operate moving forward to promote sustainability in aviation in the international sphere.
