Social networking websites are used for personal connections and business promotion. Cyber threats can be unintentional or intentional, targeted or non-targeted, and can come from various sources: foreign nations, criminals, hackers, virus writers, or disgruntled employees. Investigates the threat of cyber attacks in social networking websites. Amasses histories of online social websites, classifies types, discusses the cyber threats, and proposes anti-threat strategies to predict the future of such websites.
