Abstract:
This report discusses regional energy generation and consumption, and possible regional greenhouse gas mitigation options in Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Greenhouse gas mitigation is studied in several industries in all four countries. The results from this study assert the need to look beyond national borders to realize the full mitigation potential of Southern Africa.
