CISA wants more funding for critical infrastructure activities

Abstract:
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a subset of the Department of Homeland security, has requested from Congress more funds to improve the United States Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. The agency highlights that $60 million dollars was allocated by Congress to secure elections but not nearly enough was allocated to other, arguably more important, critical infrastructure like the power grid. They state that these funds will allow them to fully engage and follow up in the protection of this infrastructure like never before. This idea has bipartisan support and looks likely to create change.
