Asia Media Summit: Recommendations to the WSIS in Tunis

Considers broadcasting to be a crucial tool for sustainable development through access to information and knowledge. Makes declarations and recommendations in the following areas: media and globalization, cultural diversity, digital opportunities, free flow of information, public service broadcasting, human resource development (HRD), children, gender, HIV/AIDS, disasters, preservation of radio and television archives, WIPO Broadcasters’ Treaty, and copyright and digital technology.
