UNEP International Environmental Technology Center (IETC)

The International Environmental Technology Centre’s vision is for countries to implement sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, with focus on holistic waste management. United Nations Environment Programme International Environmental Technology Centre (IETC) located in Osaka, Japan, promotes the collection and dissemination of knowledge on Environmentally Sound Technologies with a focus on waste management. IETC was established in 1992, as a follow-up to Decision 16/34 of the UN Environment Governing Council.
