Security and Sustainability

The article discusses the importance of sustainability and security in the expanding areas of policy concern. The capacity of many states to launch large-scale cyber-attacks which also have also advantages of cyber attacks for extremist groups, is stated. The broad-ranging concept of human security, advocated by the United Nations Development Programme, is mentioned. Issues on environmental sustainability and security is also emphasized.
