Reducing U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions: How Much at What Cost?

Abstract: 
This report assesses the potential costs, benefits, and impacts of over 250 technologies and policies which could significantly reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Robert Socolow, Stephen Pacala, and John Heywood were among the members of the Academic Panel which steered and reviewed the effort conducted by Mckinsey & Company, with input from the U.S. Business Council, The Conference Board, and political leaders across the country.
