IIEC has worked to bring the power of sustainable energy solutions to developing countries and economies in transition since 1984. These solutions include energy efficiency, renewable energy, and integrated transport planning. A global nonprofit organization with headquarters in Washington, DC, IIEC works through its affiliate IIEC-Europe in London, U.K.; its regional offices in Bangkok, Thailand, and Johannesburg, South Africa; and its project offices in India, China, and the Philippines. IIEC's worldwide staff of 35 includes engineers, policy analysts, project development specialists, financial experts, and information professionals.
