Abstract:
This report talks about something that is not talked about a lot - China’s cybersecurity. That is, not only Chinese hackers and the damage they cause to other countries (which is the most common topic of discourse), but Chinese victims due to the work of mostly Chinese hackers. It goes into depth of Chinese policy and law are lacking in that they cannot seem to deter hackers. It also contrasts technical threats (which countries like US are more concerned about) with ideological threats (which China seems to be more concerned about).
