ICT for e-Environment Toolkit and the e-Environment Readiness Index (EERI)

Aims to help developing countries, communities, jurisdictions and organizations use ICT technology to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The toolkit must consider the readiness assessment, using the e-Environment Readiness Index (EERI), to determine if developing nations are ready for ICT as a means to mitigate climate change. Measures the impact of ICT use on climate change and GHG emissions. A stepping stone towards more research and a greater understanding of ICT technology's effect on the climate and GHG emissions.
