Agricultural Biotechnology Center - Hungary

The Agricultural Biotechnology Center was founded by the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture. The center deals with biotechnology research and development for an environmentally friendly Hungarian agriculture. Its main general tasks are research by means of genetic engineering and by cellular techniques, the development of the technological and technical level of agriculture with environmentally adequate methods, and the assurance of conditions for the transfer of new technologies.
