Abstract:
Shinder explains the difficulties of cybercrime: jurisdiction, anonymity, and the fragility of cyber evidence from the ground up. She begins by defining the basics: what is “jurisdiction” and how the US judicial system decides who gets it. She then explains some of the difficulties of cybercrime with several examples in many different areas. She reveals the current difficulties with cybercrime as well as the strategies used today by IT admins like herself as well as security agencies.
