A United Nations organization fighting to eradicate world hunger through food aid aimed at the most vulnerable and poor. WFP's mission is to use food aid to help those in humanitarian crises sustain life, to enable growth and sustained health of children, pregnant women and other vulnerable individuals, and to help create self-reliance among the poor.
