New Directions in Energy Modeling: Summary of Annex V (1993-1995)

This paper addresses the issues of greenhouse gases and national energy options by continuing to develop better models to evaluate technological solutions, economic impacts, and emission reduction strategies. Its goals are: to improve national and multinational analyses of greenhouse gas reduction strategies, including assessment of the economic impacts and the role of CO2 vis-a-vis other greenhouse gases; and to share methodologies, tools, insight and experience within the project and with other countries.
