International Policy Framework for Protecting Critical Information Infrastructure: A Discussion Paper Outlining Key Policy Issue

Abstract: 
The purpose of this paper is to focus international attention on the urgency of cybersecurity concerns. It underlines the critical need to develop an effective national and international framework for creating policies that protect nations' e-resources. It reviews the main issues related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), the key necessary elements of an international framework for cybersecurity, proposals for approaches to improving collaboration within the global network, and key policies and recommendations for various stakeholders.
