EUROPOL Threat Assessment (Abridged) Internet Facilitated Organised Crime (iOCTA)

Abstract:
EUROPOL has developed the European Cybercrime Centre in its efforts to reduce the threats cybercrime pose on the EU. In a "centralized coordination of intelligence", EUROPOL works with the private sector - especially internet service providers (ISPs), internet security organizations and financial services - to reduce the threats. Knowing that organized crime now operates online and offline, EUROPOL must know how crime move between the two sectors.
