Cyber Security Within The Globalization Process

Abstract:
Examines security issues within decision-making processes regarding control activities and information protection, particularly within mutually interconnected networks. Reviews: security and communication and information systems in the globalization process; concept of the Czech Republic cyber defense; requirements for information security; and preparation, training, and education of personnel in the field of cyber security. Concludes that security priorities should utilize the Czech Republic’s Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and that government should use both legislative and non-legislative measures to comply with principles of information society development. Government should support further cyber education, define methods of protecting information handled by public authorities, and reinforce international efforts to seize cyber attack criminals.
