Cyber-Physical-Social Based Security Architecture for Future Internet of Things

Abstract:
Within the emerging paradigm of the Internet of Things (IoT), the U2IoT (Unit IoT and Ubiquitous IoT) model has been presented for the future IoT. Proposes a cyber-physical-social based security architecture (IPM) based on the U2IoT model to deal with information, pysical, and management security perspectives through architectural abstractions. Establishes an information-security model to describe mapping relations among U2IoT, security layer, and security management, in which intelligen e and compatibility properties are infused into IPM. Proposes a physical security model of the external context and inherent infrastructure through artificial immune algorithms. Suggests security strategies for social management control. Reviews main characteristics of U2IoT entities: cyber, physical, social co-existence; connectivity and interactivity; space-time consistency; and multi-identity status. The proposed security architecture (IPM) includes four layers: sensor layer, network layer, application layer, and an additional social layer.
