Centre for Science and Environment

The Center for Science and Environment tries to educate people about the importance of sustainable development, especially for the daily survival of India's poor and its rural women. Many of its publications and campaigns focus primarily on India and Southeast Asia, including the CSE annual report on the state of India's environment, and its campaigns on air pollution, water harvesting, climate change, biodiversity, and water pollution. The CSE site provides links to the global environmental governance newsletter, and Down To Earth, a periodical dealing with many global environmental issues.
