Saudi Arabia Ministry of Communication – Content Filtering Policy

Abstract:
Saudi Arabia's ministry of communications has a website explaining the structure of the Internet infrastructure and explains the censorship rules. King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) administers allocation of domains and IP address to ISPs and maintains the International Access Point. The filtering and censorship occurs at this node, and informs users of pages that are blocked for reasons of piety. Includes data, graphs, and other statistical visualizations.
