Crossing Scales and Disciplines to Achieve Forest Sustainability

Abstract: 
The increasing pressure of utilizing more forest resources for consumption. The article investigates cross-disciplinary approaches to sustainable forest management. It examines two major themes of current multidisciplinary projects. First, one theme is to promote interdisciplinary projects regarding sustainable landscape design. Second, the theme is to address inherent scaling problems of socioeconomic and ecological processes.
